Loren Lorenson is a refugee from a destroyed Earth, aboard the Starship Magellan, the last to flee the solar-system before the sun goes nova, the lucky few who were given a place in her berths observe the demise of the Earth before entering hibernation for a decade long journey to a new home.
In order to make the journey in safety Magellan huddles behind a debris shield made of ice. The shield however would not survive the entire journey and must be replenished from a convenient source. The planet Thalassa would serve well as a way station for the crew to disembark for a few weeks on a world that colonised not long ago had been silent for generations and was believed to be no longer inhabited. On arrival the crew discovers that far from being extinct the human colony has flourished in it's own modest way in the idyllic climate of the planets three islands. In order to cause minimal disruption to the native culture the crew sent to Thalassa is quartered separately and the ice producing plant is placed n a distant shore. Despite the enforced separation the planet side crew builds many friendships and Loren falls in love.

Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur.C.Clarke

Far out in the solar system and travelling fast, a large object is detected which will pass near earth. An expedition to meet it discovers that it is giant spaceship with an artificial world inside it, complete with it's own gravity. The space craft seemingly expects them, but does not appear to have aliens on board - or perhaps they are just hiding. With no way to control the ship it will soon pass out of the solar system, and team race to unlock as many of it's secrets as quickly as they can.
The expedition team has plenty of surprises as they try to gain an insight to the alien shipbuilders, including a nice touch when they are reluctantly forced to abandon ship. As it's final bow to Solar System, the craft turns towards the Sun for re fuelling.

While all this is going someone from inside Schofield's unit is killing it's members one by one. Fortunately Schofield's men are tight unit prepare to follow their leader into hell.

The cunning magician secretly plots to kill Roland, and frame Peter. Then Peter's brother Thomas five years younger than he, would become king. Thomas was not like his brother he was bumb and was terrified of Flagg. Flagg could use this to control him. Peter imprisoned in the Needle, a 300 foot tower, meanwhile plots a daring escape, with the help of his friend Ben and without him knowing it, the same man who had convicted him guilty of murder, Judge General Anders Penya.

The Street Lawyer by Jhon Grisham

Michael Brock is a lawyer working his way to the top in Drake&Sweeny law firm. His fast paced life kept him goingnot realizing how much he missed out on. Until the he was held hostage with a co-worker by a homeless guy, not knowing what he wanted or what would happen.
After several hoursthe homeless guy was shot by a police sniper, which sared everyone. Michael was the closest to the guy and for a second thought that he had been shot also. He was covered in bloob and body fluids from the homeless guy. After this incident he began wondering if he was the right job and about his home life.
He decided to become a street lawyer and after telling his wife his decision to take a job with less money and no benefits they became seperated and she then filed for a divorce. He began searching and realised the compay he worked forhad illegally evicted homeless people from a building and this caused death to some. He worked hard to provethis and in the Drake & Sweeney realized the mistake, fired the lawyer who done this and began helping Michael Brock help the homeless.

After travelling across a large dessert, Marak meets the five century old Ila. Everyone who is dubbed mad hear voices telling them to go east. Ila wants him to do just that bot report to her what he finds. After a long arduos trek, Marak reaches a towe where he meete Ian and Lutz, Ila's peers, claiming the world is coming to an end. If he is to survive he must return to this tower with Ila and as many people as will go with them.
